    Today, the handshake

    @ManuelJáuregui @Reforma @sre_mx @pmtrudeau @realdonaldtrump @Statedept @USAGOV
    11 Oct. 2017

Originally the NAFTA meeting for today was scheduled in Kansas City, Missouri, State biased by @Potus fans, but fortunately, it was changed to Washington, a zone less radicalized and more neutral, but even then, we are embrazed by a feeling of a breaking bones.

The first signal was given by the cowardly and treacherous Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau
who instead of making a solid front with Mexico, he throw us to the lions, shouting to @potus that Canada is not the problem of NAFTA, as Mexico it is.
This play is what Trump likes to hear, as his hatred toward Mexico it´s obvious, as he is against us since he lost several legal business deals related with a golf field and with miss universe contest Yesterday, in avisit of a hockey team to the White House, Trump repeated his favorite lie about NAFTA, “that it´s the worst deal made for them”

It has been demonstrated that NAFTA has been an excellent business for the United States, so the US Chamber of Commerce has stated that if Trump unilaterally decides to cancel it, they will file a lawsuit to prevent it; and yesterday 314 local and state chambers of commerce reiterated the support of the business community to the Treaty in a letter sent to the President.

Riding his orange mule, we are convinced that the US "negotiator,"[b] Robert Lighthizer, of Ohio-another trumpeted state-WILL RISE FROM THE TABLE OF TALKS and make a theater with bullying and threats of breakup. This is in the style of Trump and in order to impose FEES, that is, to force Mexico to accept that its exports are taxed with entrance taxes or compensatory tariffs to enter the North American market. This is what they will force us to accept. They will use tactics to intimidate the opponent, including the threat of CANCELLATION of the treaty, which Trump manages without taking into account the interests of American consumers.

There is a fear in the markets that this will happen, so that is why the peso has weakened against the dollar recently. The good thing for Mexico is that, although it no longer counts on the force that would have made the union with Canada, in the United States the businessmen are generally aware that the US economy would do much better with NAFTA THAT WIHOUT IT. It is shown that this President does not listen to anyone and does not seem to care that the FACTS marches against his sayings. He wants his constituents (certainly, his approval rating is falling, even in states that voted for him), to make a scapegoat, to make Mexico a scapegoat and to suspend the medal, according to him, of rescuing jobs for the Americans.

And when this WILL NOT HAPPEN, he will look for this President's imitation suitcase to someone else to blame, inventing a new lie that is conveniente FOR HIM. For the time being, he himself created an "enemy of the American jobs" that is[B] Mexico, and will try to put our Country "in its place". We have been told by those who know - businessmen close to negotiation - that the Mexican negotiating team is very solid, they trust him and are sure that at the end of this high-profile process we will sometimes be well off. God willing and so it is, the only thing we ask as citizens is that the agreement WON´T BE AGAINST MEXICAN PRIDE.

Should our negotiators adopt the "zen" of the Japanese samurai described in "The Art of War," a book indeed, not like the comic that Trump published under his name, but written by a paid pen, [B]"The Art of the Deal "(The Art of Treatment)?.[/I] This maxim of the samurai says that in order to be successful in combat, he must be convinced and willing to die, for only thus will he fight without fear, with the free mind and reflexes as a lightning.

Let's remember what he said - he was a great President and statesman, John F. Kennedy: "We will never negotiate in fear, but we will not be afraid to negotiate either."
