Hablando un poco de los escándalos financieros que se han suscitado en los mercados de valores de Estados Unidos:

Si usted hubiera invertido hace un año $ 1,000 dólares en acciones de Enron, ahora tendría unos $16.50 dólares, si los hubiera invertido en acciones de Worldcom, ahora tendría unos $ 5 dólares, y si los hubiera invertido en acciones de Nortel ahora tendría aproximadamente $ 49 dólares.

Sin embargo, si hace un año en vez de comprar esas acciones usted hubiera comprado los $ 1,000 dólares de Brahma (la cerveza, no la acción), ya se habría tomado toda la cerveza, y hubiera podido vender las latas vacías por unos 10 centavos, y entonces tendría unos $ 214 dólares aproximadamente.

Basado en lo anterior, parece que el mejor consejo en esta época de turbulencia financiera es:

' Tome mucha cerveza y recicle las latas vacías. '
